In these circumstances, WBC will go to contract with the seller on an agreed upon price subject to permits. During this time, we will be marketing a new home to be built on the property. This allows the property owners to obtain the dollar amount they are looking for without the needless back and forth of showing the existing home. From a timing perspective, this usually works better as it allows the seller the ability to quickly wrap up a sale without investing the dollar amount or time required to update the home to today’s standards.
